Foresite, a managed security, cyber consulting and compliance services provider, has announced new ConnectWise Manage integrations for managed service providers (MSPs). The integrations come after ConnectWise in December began to distribute Foresite's MSSP, compliance, cybersecurity and security operations center (SOC) capabilities to MSPs and technology solutions providers (TSPs).
The integrations enable ConnectWise's MSP partners to use Foresite's ProVision cloud-based information security management system, according to a prepared statement. Also, ConnectWise MSPs can resell Foresite's cyber testing, compliance assessments and audits and incident response offerings.
ProVision offers ticket integration with ConnectWise Manage, Foresite indicated. It empowers MSPs with bi-directional syncing and allows them to see the most recent customer information.
Furthermore, MSPs can use ProVision in conjunction with ConnectWise Manage to search logs and run reports, Foresite stated. They also can access a multi-tenant portal that provides visibility into customer activities.
ConnectWise Invests in Perch Security
Perch Security, a company that specializes in self-service threat intelligence tools for MSPs and IT service providers, this month secured $9 million in a Series A funding round led by ConnectWise. In addition, ConnectWise CEO Arnie Bellini has joined Perch's board of directors.
The funding allows Perch to bolster its software development and growth initiatives, according to the company. It also highlights ConnectWise's commitment to help channel partners automate IT security for small and medium-sized business (SMB) customers without substantial SOC investments.
The SMB cybersecurity market could play a key role in ConnectWise's channel partner strategy.
SMBs spend approximately $11 billion on remotely managed security services, industry analyst AMI-Partners stated. They also represent the primary driver for the global remotely managed security services market's projected growth.
Key ConnectWise Cybersecurity Moves
Bellini in June met with roughly two dozen MSSPs, MSPs and CISOs to discuss SMB cybersecurity. The meeting was held one day after the former Automation Nation 2018 conference in Orlando, Florida.
Meanwhile, Bellini could provide additional insights into ConnectWise's SMB cybersecurity strategy in the near future. He is expected to deliver a keynote address to ConnectWise partners at next month's IT Nation Connect conference in Orlando.
