Next DLP, Torq Partner for Insider Risk Detection

Share
Risk reduction

Next DLP has integrated its Reveal insider risk detection and prevention platform into the Torq Hyperautomation platform, according to the companies.

In addition, electric adventure vehicle company Rivian will leverage the Next-Torq joint solution to "prevent accidental data loss and stop malicious theft of valuable intellectual property," the businesses said.

Next DLP and Torq Automate Security Policy Enforcement

Rivian and other organizations can use the Next-Torq joint solution to "stop suspicious activity in its tracks," the companies said. They can do so through a variety of actions, including:

  • Automated security warnings
  • Temporary account deactivation
  • Restricted access

Also, the joint solution lets organizations feed data fed into Next Reveal through Torq Hyperautomation, the companies indicated. That way, organizations can deny users access to websites known to be unauthorized or malicious and minimize their risk of data loss.

Next DLP and Torq Provide Insights into Organizations' Security Operations

Together, Next Reveal and Torq Hyperautomation provide visibility into organizations' internal operations, the companies noted. This allows organizations to add a layer of safety as they search for ways to protect against current and emerging threats.

The Next and Torq partnership will enable MSSP/MSPs to give end-user organizations the ability to leverage deep visibility into insider risk to prevent accidental data loss and stop the malicious theft of valuable company data, the companies said.

Torq Enhances Its Hyperautomation Platform

The Next partnership comes after Torq in August 2023 integrated the Socrates cybersecurity Tier-1 analysis artificial intelligence agent into Hyperautomation.

Socrates uses large language models (LLMs) to analyze and understand organizations' security operations center (SOC) playbooks, Torq pointed out. The agent combines intelligence signals from organizations' security ecosystems to automatically remediate security incidents. It also learns and evolves as it gathers and analyzes security events and alerts.

Torq offers an automation security operations platform to global organizations. Along with Next, Torq has launched integrations with cybersecurity and technology companies. It offers integrations for endpoint detection and response (EDR), security information and event management (SIEM) and other cybersecurity capabilities.
